Concerti live per la mia autoradio

Non vorrei sembrarvi pesante o ripetitivo, ma lo sapete che sono contento della mia autoradio Mp3? Non del pezzo di plastica, ma delle possibilità che mi offre.

L’ultima scoperta è il Live Music Archive, ad opera di quei canaglia (nell’accezione positiva) dell’Internet Archive. Una vera miniera di concerti recenti e storici, già comodamente zippati e pronti per essere riversati in un Cd. Imperdibile il concerto dei Grateful Dead.

Tra l’altro navigando nel sito si scoprono un sacco di cose interessanti, come ad esempio il significato di Trade Friendly, la filosofia che permette di ospitare gratuitamente sul sito alcune versioni live dei concerti:

A growing number of bands grant fans the privilege of freely trading some of their music, usually live recordings of their performances. Every trade-friendly band has their own version of what that term means and how far it extends. Some artists formally allow both taping and trading (e.g., Grateful Dead >1984). Some artists formally or tacitly allow trading of tapes even if they or their management do not openly permit taping (e.g., Grateful Dead <1984). Some bands’ policies are formally written up and posted on official websites; others are informal verbal understandings between band and fans that are kept in a sort of “oral tradition”.
